Blushing Blue Wedding Stationery

An Alice in Wonderland inspired wedding stationery set, using linen-textured papers and shimmering, pastel hues.

A stationery set that makes your guests feel like falling they’re falling down the rabbit hole, to find themselves in Alice’s Wonderland. Pastel hues of blue and pink bring together all the elements of this shoot, from the invitation to the wax seal to close the envelope. Important details of the illustrations and the text are enhanced by the use of silver leaf and high-shimmer Brillanza Tutti Frutti.

The first hint of adventure comes from the far from ordinary invite and RSVP. As all the rest of this set, the invite is fully handmade, it features an hand-painted copy of the original Sir John Tenniel’s illustration of Alice, peeking behind the curtains. Alice’s illustration is on 300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper, and is in relief compared to the rest of the invite. The main body of the invite is made of wedgewood, textured murano paper made with 45% cotton with a 160gsm weight to give it a luxurious feel. On the inside, the text is handwritten on white calligraphy paper and it features the famous white rabbit.

The RSVP envelope is made using a linen-textured white paper paper, with an original quote form the book written in modern calligraphy. The RSVP itself is instead on calligraphy paper, featuring the pocket watch illustration and handwritten calligraphy text. Your guests will receive everything in a handmade, unique envelope made with heavy watercolour paper, tied up with a satin ribbon and a marbled wax seal.

As for on-the-day stationery, we have place cards, menus, signage and labels/tags for food and drinks. The tent menu is illustrated and handwritten on 320gsm Khadi 100% recycled cotton rag paper. The place cards are inspired by vintage playing cards, each featuring a monogram of the couple, with watercolour illustrations on the cover and the guest’s name on the reverse. Finally, tags with ‘Eat me’ and ‘Drink me’ are dotted around the buffet.
