Ciao! I’m Michela, an Italian artist from Rome, with a passion for history and heritage arts. I studied water marbling and iconography in Florence, and heraldic art, calligraphy and illumination at the Reigate School of Arts.
My mission is simple: to keep these heritage arts and crafts alive. I’m passionate about preserving the beauty and intricacy of traditional arts, and I dream of one day opening a school where future generations can learn these dying crafts and continue their legacy.
While I believe minimalism has its place in the modern world, my work celebrates the ornate, detailed beauty that comes with traditional craftsmanship. I bring this vision to life for luxury brands and private clients alike, offering a range of services which reference my work with heraldic arts and illumination.
Although my practice spans many disciplines, what really inspires me are the emotions and the stories that people entrust me to express and capture through art. It’s this human connection that breathes life into every line and drop of ink. I feel deeply honoured and connected whenever someone chooses to share their story with me. I remember each one of you who got in touch with me through the years and when I see a photo of an old piece, it’s your story I see.
